The Corridor is comprised of eight towns located in the pristine and affordable northeast corner of the state of Connecticut, the state’s first rural enterprise corridor. It is not only the quality of life and affordability that makes the Corridor an ideal location for business. Located on Interstate 395 and the Providence and Worcester rail line, the Corridor offers easy access to major markets such as New York, Boston, Providence and Canada. Not only is there an abundance of industrial land and building space, rates are extremely competitive. The ECEC offers outstanding benefits to business with manufacturing incentives similar to those in the state’s 13 urban enterprise zones including:

  • Five year, 80% abatement of local property taxes
  • Ten-year, 25% credit on corporate taxes

In addition, existing mill space offers an exceptional opportunity for even greater savings.

The eight towns that comprise the Eastern CT Enterprise Corridor are: Thompson, Putnam, Killingly, Plainfield, Sterling, Sprague, Lisbon and Griswold. For more information call: 1-800-711-3338 or write to: ECEC, P.O. Box 665, Danielson, CT 06239.
