We assist in job creation and retention in northeastern Connecticut by providing loans and ongoing business advice to existing and startup businesses that have been unable to secure credit through conventional sources.
The Northeast Alliance was formed in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit economic development corporation to help create and retain jobs in 21 towns of Windham, Tolland, and New London counties.
Our vision is focused in two areas:
- To work directly with small business owners in northeastern Connecticut
- To work on larger-scale regional activities to help create a more cohesive economic development policy that attracts, strengthens, and retains healthy companies that enhance the quality of life of all residents.
